£ The American Independent Business Alliance (AMIBA) recently sent out a warning regarding POTENTIAL SCAM. Business members of the Santa Fe Alliance have been contacted by a group called the US Local Business Association (https.//www.usiba.net/ Default.aspx). The website looks legitimate, but AMIBA believes they are a scam – enter the organization’s name into a browser search and read the feedback.
£ Are you a First Alternative Food Co-op owner? If so, you have an additional way to support CIBA. Owners are currently voting for organizations to be part of the 2009 CARTS FOR CORVALLIS PROGRAM. Recipients are assigned to a month and funds are raised for their organization. CIBA is on the ballot, along with 16 other organizations. Only 12 will be selected. Help CIBA by putting a check mark next to our name on your ballot (available at the stores). Thanks!
